PRIVACY, WITHOUT THE FINE PRINT

We need coupon outcomes. Not your shopping life.

FAIRPERK collects the smallest amount of information needed to improve coupon reliability. Your checkout, identity, and browsing behavior are not the product.

WHAT WE COLLECT

Only what improves coupon confidence.

  • Merchant domain
  • Coupon identifier and code when needed for the API
  • Whether a code worked
  • Measured discount amount and currency
  • Adapter identifier, extension version, and server-generated time

WHAT WE DO NOT COLLECT

Checkout data stays at checkout.

  • Extension checkout page URLs or query parameters
  • Affiliate parameters or affiliate cookies
  • Cart contents, product names, or checkout DOM snapshots
  • Payment information, passwords, or account credentials
  • Browsing history, email addresses, or user identity

How result reporting works

When FAIRPERK tests a coupon, it can report the outcome so the code's reliability can improve over time. Reporting is anonymous and does not block the local checkout result. If reporting fails, the coupon test still succeeds or fails based on the checkout itself.

FAIRPERK does not use third-party extension analytics to observe your browsing behavior. It does not send page URLs, query strings, cookies, cart contents, product names, DOM snapshots, payment information, or account credentials as coupon-result data.

Website analytics

Our public marketing pages use Google Analytics to understand high-level site use, such as which FAIRPERK pages are viewed and how visitors reach them. Google may process standard browser and device information under its own privacy practices.

Google Analytics does not run in the FAIRPERK browser extension, the protected Workspace, or the development checkout. We do not use it to track checkout activity, coupon testing, affiliate attribution, or private Workspace actions.

How coupons are collected

Coupon codes may come from merchant-published promotions, direct merchant submissions, manually reviewed public creator codes, or moderated user submissions. FAIRPERK does not collect private checkout data, cart details, browsing history, or affiliate information to source coupon codes.

Coupon data is treated as untrusted plain text. It is never executed as code, treated as HTML, or used to load remote extension behavior.

Why collect coupon results?

A worked or did-not-work result helps FAIRPERK rank coupon codes more accurately. This makes it less likely that a code with one lucky success outranks a code that has worked consistently for many shoppers.

What about affiliate attribution?

FAIRPERK does not collect affiliate parameters, alter affiliate cookies, or rewrite affiliate links. Read the Integrity page for the exact product behavior behind that statement.

Minimal data is a feature.

FAIRPERK does not need payment details, passwords, cart contents, or a history of where you browse to help you use coupon codes.
